Paying Speeding Fines in Mexico

If you get pulled over by the police for speeding, running a stop sign or other traffic violations, just remain calm, polite and pay your fines at the police station. There may be times your pulled over even when following the law. The officer may demand that the fine be paid directly to the officer. Continue to remain calm and polite. At that point, some travelers decide to pay fines to the officer instead of delaying vacation plans. The choice is up to you, but the normally recommended way is to pay at the police station.
